Lavender Inside and Out

This came out so pretty.  It is scented with lavender fo, patchouli eo, ginger fo, rosemary eo, and eucalyptus lemon eo.

The color was obtained from mixing fluorescent blue violet and fluorescent light pink from TKB trading.  It is a nice dense lavender with no specks.

The top is sprinkled with purple jojoba beads from Brambleberry.

I'm happy.  :)

Still Testing Recipes

This soap turned out great.  I love the translucency that I'm getting with this one that I call Springtime and the previous one (different recipe)that I called Stained Glass.  I'm going to make again tomorrow to see if this repeats itself which I believe it will because of the oils and butters in this recipe.

This is a recipe that I loved but was a soft soap that took forever to get hard so Roberta tweaked it for me.  What a sweetheart she is and she has helped me so much with my soaping journey.  This soap was made today and sliced tonight.  It has those slick sides I love and a nice finish and it hasn't even been cleaned up yet.  What a great recipe this is going to be.

All the Things I Love Version 2

These recipes that Roberta helped me with are going to be the ones that I use when I made rice bran oil and tallow soaps.  I have four recipes that I normally use for the soaps I make: tallow, rice bran oil, sunflower oil and a recipe that I use for my beer soaps.

I probably would like one basic recipe but since there are different things that different recipes bring to your soap I doubt that I will ever have less than these 4.  I'm sure along the line they will be tweaked as I learn more of what does what but for now I'm happy.  And, thank you, Roberta.

All New Recipes

These are all new recipes that Roberta and I have been working on.  She does beautiful designs and I just do regular swirls.
